Start with your name, age, city or parish, gender, dating preferences, and at least one profile photo. Bio, interests, prompts, and lifestyle details are optional, but they help other people understand who you are and can improve your connections.

Location helps Konekt show people who are more relevant to your area. The app should not display your exact location on your public profile; it uses a broader city or parish style summary.

Notifications are useful for likes, matches, chat activity, and important account updates. You can turn push preferences on or off from Account Settings later.

Discovery uses your profile, selected preferences, account status, and app rules to decide which profiles are eligible to appear. Completing your profile and keeping your preferences accurate improves the quality of profiles you see.

Your dating preferences are part of profile setup and profile editing. Keep them current so Discovery can respect the people you want to meet as accurately as possible.

You may see fewer profiles when your preferences are narrow, your area has fewer active people, or there are no eligible profiles at that moment. Check your profile details, photo status, and preferences, then try again later.

A like shows interest. If the other person also likes you, Konekt can create a match so you can start a conversation in chat.

Messaging is available after a match is created. Open the Chats tab to view active conversations and continue talking with people you matched with.

Konekt supports richer chat tools where they are available in your conversation. Use them respectfully and keep messages aligned with the same safety and community expectations as normal text.

Passing removes that profile from your current Likes or Discovery flow so you can focus on people you are more interested in. It is meant to keep the experience clean and intentional.

Add at least one photo so your basic profile is ready for Discover, then add more when you can. Clear photos with good lighting, a visible face, and natural framing usually perform better than blurry or heavily filtered images.

Yes. Go to Settings, open your profile entry point, and edit the fields that are available for changes. Some identity fields may be locked after they are set to keep profiles consistent and trustworthy.

Verification is an optional trust signal that helps your profile stand out. It is designed to support authenticity and give other people more confidence when they interact with you.

Use the report option from a profile or chat when something feels unsafe, fake, disrespectful, or suspicious. Reports help Konekt review behavior and keep the community respectful.

Stop engaging, use the available safety tools, and report the profile or chat when appropriate. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or a trusted local support service.

Meet in a public place, tell a trusted person where you are going, keep your own transportation available, and trust your instincts. Do not share sensitive personal or financial details with someone you just met.

People can see the public parts of your profile, such as your display details, photos, bio, interests, and general location summary. Account settings and private security settings are not shown on your public profile.

Konekt is built around broader location context for matching and profile summaries. Your exact live location should not be displayed as public profile text.

You control the photos you upload and can manage them from the profile photo tools. Choose photos you are comfortable showing to people who may see your profile in Konekt.

Open Account Settings to manage push preferences, email preferences, and match email updates. These controls are stored with your account settings and can be changed when needed.

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra security step to your account. When enabled, it helps protect your Konekt account beyond your normal sign-in method.

Konekt Plus is the app's premium area for upgraded features. Open the Konekt Plus screen from Settings to see the current benefits, purchase options, and account-specific availability.

Deleting your account permanently removes your Konekt profile data and signs you out. Only use this option when you are sure you no longer want the account.
